Cannot launch the Visual Policy Manager

In the ProxySG Management Console, clicking Launch does not open the VPM. The console displays the message Launching VPM. Please wait...


Try the following steps to resolve the issue:

  • Verify that you are running a supported Java version. See Supported Java, operating system, and browser versions for SGOS.  This information can also be found in the release notes on the firmware download page.
  • Clear the browser cache.
  • Try using different browsers and a different computer.
  • Ensure that there is no resource issue on the ProxySG appliance (CPU, memory utilization).
