Issue/Introduction

The ProxySG appliance's configuration archive does not include "policy no coverage".  By default, coverage is enabled; thus, if it is disabled, it should show up in configuration.

Verify if this is the case using the following command line interface (CLI) commands.

Disable policy coverage:
Blue Coat SG600 Series#(config)policy no coverage
  ok

Show the configuration:
Blue Coat SG600 Series#(config)show conf
!- Version: SGOS 6.5.5.4 Proxy Edition
.....
!- BEGIN policy
policy hmac encrypted-key "<removed>"
!- END policy

Resolution

This issue is addressed in SGOS 6.5.7.1.

Workaround

Ater you restore the configuration to a destination appliance, manually enter the command policy no coverage in the CLI console.
