Article ID: 168493

Updated On:

The command sys nic reset # where # is the interface number as per the output of sys nic info resets the PacketShaper network card.
There will be a small amount of traffic lost (typically 128 - 256 frames) and the linkChangeTime counter will update to match the number of seconds after booting that the interface most recently re-established its connection.

[12] TxErrors : 256
[24] TxNoLinkErrors : 256

There is an automatic process whereby if the interface gets into a bad state, the interface will be reset automatically. It is very rare that an interface will get into a bad state and require automatic recovery.
