Issue/Introduction

IBM reported to the customer that the subsystem can be down due to the DFSMS Media Manager problem.

Does CA Librarian use the DFSMS Media Manager ?
Also, is there a problem when applying IBM APAR OA54289(UA944418, UA944419, UA944417) ?

z/OSLibrarian R4.4

Resolution

CA Librarian does not use the DFSMS Media Manager.
Also, there is no report of a problem
