Issue/Introduction

We are planning to upgrade Kernel on Non-Windows (Linux / Solaris) Spectrum Servers, will it affect Spectrum functionality?

Environment

Spectrum running on all supported Linux and Solaris platforms

Resolution

We don’t certify Spectrum down to the Kernel level. 

 

We do not anticipate you running into issues so long as you are still on a supported version of Operating System, but we do strongly recommend you to first implement this in a Test / UAT Environment before moving to Production Environment
