CA Identity Manager not displaying RCM related roles

Issue/Introduction

When using the Virtual Appliance we noticed that the following roles are missing from Identity Manager which look like they should be there by default.

DefineCARCMConnection - included in the CA Identity Governance Configuration Manager role. 

DeleteCARCMConnection - included in the CA Identity Governance Configuration Manager role. 

How can we get these roles?

Resolution

In order to get these roles to be created in Identity Manager you need to import Smart Provisioning from the Identity Manager Management Console.

1) Log into the IM Management console

2) Select Environment and click the name of the environment

3) Select roles and task settings and select import

4) Scroll down to the bottom and check off "Smart Provisioning"

5) Select import

 

After this is done you will notice some new roles in Identity Manager that can be utilized now.
