Issue/Introduction

This article addresses the java.lang.RuntimeException: Process [<processname>] not found! error encountered when running data imports in Identity Governance.

The following error appears in the application logs during the import process:

ERROR [stderr] (default task-8) java.lang.RuntimeException: Process [<processname>] not found!ERROR [stderr] (default task-8) at com.eurekify.workpoint.adaper.service.GetFirstNodeAction.<init>(GetFirstNodeAction.java:26)

Environment

Identity Governance 14.5

Cause

This error indicates that the process definitions within the WorkPoint database are out of sync with the Identity Governance (IdG) configuration. This typically occurs after configuration changes or upgrades that require a refresh of the WorkPoint database definitions within the IG environment.

Resolution

To resolve this synchronization error, perform a WorkPoint database update from within the Governance Module.

  1. Log in to the Identity Governance console.
  2. Navigate to Administration > Settings.
  3. Select Workpoint DB Administration.
  4. Click Update to refresh the process definitions.
  5. Once the update completes, re-run the import process to verify that the error is resolved.

Note: Ensure you have a current backup of the WorkPoint database before performing any configuration updates.
