Issue/Introduction

Customers might see login messages after a successful disk replacement
Customers might see error messages every time they login to the chassis after a successful hard drive replacement.

Resolution

This message can be related to the system's message of the day (/etc/motd)

1- Check the content of the MOTD file:

From unix prompt

[[email protected] admin]# cat /etc/motd 
 
Blade 7, UnsupportedDisk configuration.
 
Please check /var/log/messages for details
 
Remove /etc/motd to get rid of this message

2- Remove this message from motd file and login again.

The chassis will not display this message again
