Windows 2003 server event logs show "The parameter is incorrect" while running BCAAA and Reporter on the same server
You are seeing events in Windows 2003 server (R2) stating "The parameter is incorrect" while running BCAAA and Reporter
BCAAA and Reporter are installed on the same server and I am seeing the following events in my Windows 2003 R2 server
[6756:6960] AcceptSecurityContext failure, SEC_E_INVALID_TOKEN, ContextLink=0x0 count=5; status=87:0x57:The parameter is incorrect.
[6756:6960] ver=120 tId=a0890e8 PLType=4 PLLen=76 Seq=2f4f; status=87:0x57:The parameter is incorrect.
[6756:6960] len=240 B64BlobReq='TlRMTVNTUAADAAAAGAAYAIIAAAAYABgAmgAAABoAGgBIAAAAEAAQAGIAAAAQABAAcgAAAAAAAACyAAAABYKIogUBKAoAAAAPSABBAFMAUwBJAEEALQBHAFIAVQBQAFAARQBtAGYAaQBlAGQAbABlAHIASABDADUAMAAwADIANQA5AKdbJXHkol7vAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAF/98kHF7GcZ/vUG0Njf7e2gCk/dTIqtiA=='; status=87:0x57:The parameter is incorrect.
The above three errors are standard "wrong password" errors created by BCAAA. Blue Coat recommends running BCAAA and Reporter on different servers. One of the reasons the BCAAA errors may be occurring when these two services are on the same server is that you are running them on a Windows Primary Domain Controller (PDC). Blue Coat recommends that you run your Reporter server on a non-domain controller server.
