The description that displays in the sysinfo is pulled in from the chipset used on the motherboard of the appliance. Blue Coat changed the chipset on the motherboard of the AV1400 and the new chipset uses the description 1400-B. Therefore, the 1400-A with the new chipset displays as AV1400-B;There is no difference in the performance or functionality of the ProxyAV appliance with the change in chipset.

Note: Only the  "AV1400-A" is listed on the price sheet and is orderable.
