Why does Service Desk Manager (SDM) show the Configuration Items search window when Clicking on Project field?

Issue/Introduction

Why does SDM shows the Configuration Items search window when Clicking on Project field?

Environment

Service Desk Manager 12.9 and above

Resolution

The application will look for CI's because the projects must be created as CI's.

You can confirm this by creating a new CI and associate to a Class that is associated to the "Projects" (created by default) family. Once you create the CI, you will see that will show several attributes related to the Clarity PPM tool. Then you can associate the change order with the project using the Project field.
