Why isn't RADIUS working after changing servers?

Issue/Introduction

I recently changed the RADIUS server, and now I cannot use RADIUS to authenticate with the PacketShaper. What do I need to do?

Resolution

This problem could occur if you defined the Primary and Secondary Authentication Hosts by their DNS names, instead of their IP addresses. Although you may be able to ping the IP of the new server, the resolved DNS entry from the original server needs to be cleared.

Use the following command to have the PacketShaper resolve the new IP address:

dns refresh
