ProxySG Web Management Console: Select Configuration > ADN > Tunneling > Load Balancing > Explicit > External VIP
This functionality can be used to specify an external IP address that will act as a load balancer for the ADN network broadcast by that specific appliance.
When configured, the ADN node will broadcast all the ADN route configured on it with the external VIP rather than broadcasting this with its physical IP addresses.
This method is useful when implementing ADN on an ADN peer/proxy which resides behind a firewall facing a public IP and the ADN peer/proxy has no public IP configured on it. The firewall need to NAT the public IP to the ADN peer/proxy internal IP.
