Issue/Introduction

MAINTAIN INDEX is abending with:

Fatal error returned from IDMSSORT. Function=SORT RC=16

IDMS job abending with abend code D002

 

Environment

Release: All supported releases.

Resolution

Specify SORTSIZE=ON in SYSIDMS to get the SIZE= parameter card.

(SIZE= is the same as FILESZ= ).
