After upgrading SGOS, logging into the Management Console fails due to a Java security exception on ProxySG or Advanced Secure Gateway (ASG).
When upgrading or running SGOS for the first time, you may expereince Java issues resulting in the following warnings or errors.
Resulting in the Management Console issue:
You can resolve these issues most times by adjusting the Java settings inside the Java Control Panel located in your computer's Control Panel.
You can try to lower the Security Level to Medium. Alternatively, you can add an exception to the URL of the Management Console, as shown in the screenshot above.
Note: This needs to be the full URL path to the JAR file location.
