Issue/Introduction

Unable to upload ProxySG access logs to a 3D-FTP Server
Access log uploads to a 3D-FTP server fail.
The ProxySG event log shows that uploads fail with "Directory Not Found" error.

Resolution

The 3D-FTP server expects the user to log in to the FTP root directory "\" and then uses the profile for the logged in user (created within 3D-FTP) to determine where the file is actually written.

So if the profile points to C:\BlueCoat and the ProxySG access log FTP client is configured to put data into \BlueCoat it is actually trying to write it to C:\BlueCoat\BlueCoat. Hence, the reason for the directory not found.

Configure the ProxySG access log FTP client to use the root director "\" to resolve this problem.
