Issue/Introduction

Cannot import the CA certificate or if it does import then the Certificate is not valid (Expired state).

Resolution

Note in the following CA you will see a space in front of each line apart from the lines containing "BEGIN CERTIFICATE" and "END CERTIFICATE"


if you remove the space so the first character matches up with the beginning "-" of the first line then it will import correctly i.e.

If the certificate is already present then you should see "% Certificate Authority certificate has been imported already" and not an unspecified error.


There are no debug logs for the certificates. The certificates are added to the registry. If you still have issues then please raise a service request with BlueCoat support and upload a sysinfo, the CA cert in pem format and the output of the following :
