Issue/Introduction

The TCP/IP timeouts that apply to TCP Tunnel transactions on the ProxySG
What timeouts apply to TCP tunnel transactions?
You want to know what timeouts apply to TCP Tunnel transactions

Resolution

TCP tunneled requests follow the same behavior as configured HTTP timeouts:

EXAMPLE:
Receive timeouts:
  Server:   180
  Client:    120
  Refresh:  90

In SG4, HTTP receive timeouts can be configured via CPL/Policy. If you want to configure different timeouts for TCP versus HTTP transactions, update the global setting to whatever value you would like to apply to TCP tunneled transactions and then update the receive timeouts for HTTP requests in policy.  Doing so overrides the global setting for HTTP requests ONLY.

http.client.recv.timeout()
http.server.recv.timeout()
http.refresh.recv.timeout()
