ProxySG Software - SGOS
The ProxySG appliance sends DNS lookups when configured for a reverse proxy deployment.
There are a few things that can cause the ProxySG to perform DNS lookups. DNS lookups in a reverse proxy deployment can occur when any of the following are active:
- Adaptive Refresh
- Access logging
- HTTP health checks against a hostname
- Policy that is based on URL or category (the proxy will do an RDNS lookup if it receives an IP as the host header in a request)
