Here is the "XCF D A" output from one ESP system:

Resolution

The first number in the "XCF D A" command output gives the local connection number and the second gives the remote connection number. 

They can be needed for other XCF commands, for example, "XCF PURGE CONNECTION" command needs the first (local) connection number to purge the connection.
