Issue/Introduction

Requesting a website to be removed from a content filter category
You want to have a website removed from a category

Resolution

First verify which categories the site belongs to using the test-url feature in the CLI.

    SGOS#(config content-filter)test-url www.playboy.com
    Testing URL "www.playboy.com/"
    URL found, categories: Entertainment, Nudity, Online_Sales

    Because we have no control over the database, you will need to submit a request to the vendor.

    You can also configure a temporary workaround by creating a policy entry that allows the site, and placing it before the entry that would have blocked that site so that it causes a match first.

      url.domain=www.good.site ALLOW
      category=(Sex) exception(content_filter_denied)

      NOTE:  Some well-known sites may be locked.  In those cases submitting a request to re-rate the site will not result in a re-rating of the site.
