How do I purge or clear the DNS cache on the ProxySG?

Resolution

Use one of the following CLI command to clear the DNS cache:

SGOS 7.x/6.x/5.x:

ProxySG>enable
Enable Password:
ProxySG#clear-cache dns-cache
  ok
ProxySG#

 

SGOS 4.x:

ProxySG>enable
Enable Password:
ProxySG#purge-dns-cache
  ok
ProxySG#



NOTE:  You can purge the DNS cache at any time. You might need to do so if you have experienced a problem with your DNS server, or if you have changed your DNS configuration.
