ProxySG console shows “Cannot find a network adapter configured with an ip address”

Issue/Introduction

After a device reboot, the appliance prompts the user to go through the intial setup. Even after completing the setup, the console displays “cannot find a network adapter configured with an ip address” and prompts the user to go through the setup again.

 

Resolution

This issue was seen when the device has only one interface configured and that interface is also a part of a passthrough bridge interface.

Solution

At the initial setup prompt, configure another interface (0:0 or 1:0) which is not part of a bridge pair. The initial configuration will now complete without any error. After booting, you can continue using the old interface.
