Why CADSMCMD is missing from my Windows computer?

Environment

CA-Client Automation - All versions

Resolution

The CADSMCMD command belongs to the Manager group of tools and is installed on Enterprise and Domain Managers by default.

If needed on other systems, the DSM-Explorer package must be installed on them.

It can be done by either, deliver the DSM-Explorer package from the Domain Manager or run setup from the installation DVD and selecting Modify (this is the default option already selected) and add the "Explorer" option on the "Select Features" screen. Then select the Manager you want to connect to.
