Issue/Introduction

The Monitor Traffic page in the web interface may show Policy Hits incrementing faster than Class Hits for a particular class.

Resolution

A traffic class may show a higher number of Policy Hits than Class Hits if the policy has been set to Inheritable.When a class doesn't have its own policy, it uses the policy from a class with a policy that has been set to Inheritable, such as /Inbound/Default and /Outbound/Default. The policy counts will then occur on the traffic class which holds the policy.
