Moving User IDs and Roles to another Reporter server
You want to know how to move your User IDs and Roles to another server running Reporter

Resolution

The users.cfg and roles.cfg files generally need to be copied as a pair, if you have any roles configured.

NOTE: The users.cfg file has an encrypted hash for each password, keeping your passwords private while viewing the file in notepad. For higher security, Blue Coat recommends keeping the Blue Coat Reporter directory password protected from ordinary users.

NOTE: If you run into trouble with this file, or think it's been compromised in any way, you can merely delete the users.cfg file and Reporter will ask you to re-create the default user id- admin. You will then need to manually create the other users through the Reporter GUI.
