The 'Maximum total number of files in archive exceeded' error indicates an archive contains more files than the specified or maximum appliance limit.

Starting in ProxyAV 2.2, you can elect to have these files blocked or passed though unscanned. To change the behavior when this error occurs please connect to the ProxyAV management console - Antivirus - Scanning Behavior page.

Starting in ProxyAV 2.2, you can also change the maximum total number of files in an archive that can be scanned in the Scanning Behavior page. The maximum is 100,000.
