How to configure FTP Reverse Proxy

 

Resolution

1. Intercept FTP Service
   • Go to Configuration | Services | Proxy Services - Select FTP - Action: Intercept
2. Configure Forwarding Hosts
   • Go to Configuration | Forwarding | Forwarding Hosts - Click on New
   • Alias = the name you wish to use as an alias
   • Host = the FTP server's IP address

 

3. Configure Forwarding Rules

• Go to Visual Policy Manager(VPM) | Click Policy | Add Forwarding Layer
  • Source: Any
  • Destination: {Proxy IP} Port: 21
  • Action: Add the alias 'ReverseFTP' created in Step 2
