Issue/Introduction

Everytime I access the proxy SG Management Console (MC), it prompts me a Security Alert saying the security certificate issued by a company you have not chosen to trust, how do I get the MC access to issue the certificate that from my internal certificate authority (CA) that I trusted?

Resolution

First is to import the certificate from the internal certificate authority (CA) in to the prosySG.

For instructions on how to import a keyring and certificate(s) from the Management Console or the CLI, please refer to the Configuration and Management Guide (CMG) found at https://support.symantec.com .

Then, once the keyrings and certificate has been successfully set, you may now activate the management console HTTPS port (8082) to use this certificate keyring.

MC > Services > Management Console >  HTTPS-Console > Edit
Set the keyring to the one that you imported in Keyring.
Click OK, and Apply changes.

Try accessing to the Management-console port (8082) to see if it prompted up the correct certificate, if the browser trusted the root of your internal CA, you will not get a prompt.
