Is there a way to disable the CA Service Desk Manager (CA SDM) server URL from appearing in the web browser status bar when hovering over SDM buttons/hyperlinks?

Issue/Introduction

Is there a way to disable the CA Service Desk Manager (CA SDM) server URL from appearing in the web browser status bar when hovering over SDM buttons/hyperlinks?

CA Service Desk Manager 12.9, 14.1 and 17.xAll Supported Operating SystemsAll Supported Web Browsers

Resolution

Unfortunately, this requirement is not possible. 

It used to be possible to hide the URL in the status bar using the JavaScript window.status property. However, this has now been disabled in all major browsers, as a security measure to try to prevent phishing attacks.
