Issue/Introduction

Configure the AT&T Connect application to go through the ProxySG appliance in a transparent deployment:

  1. Open the AT&T Connect options, select the Network tab, and change the Tunneling settings to TCP Only.
  2. Bypass SSL interception (if enabled) based on the Server Certificate name (att.com). Refer to How to bypass SSL based on server certificate.
  3. Bypass Authentication (if enabled) based on the User-Agent string (IWHttpClient/1.0). Refer to How do I bypass authentication by user agent on the ProxySG?

Configure the AT&T Connect application to go through the ProxySG appliance in an explicit deployment:

  1. Open the AT&T Connect options, select the Network tab, and ensure that the proxy configuration is set to use Windows proxy settings or manual configuration.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • On the client (do this on each to each client installation):
      Open the AT&T Connect options, select the Network tab, and change the Tunneling settings to TCP Only.

    • On the ProxySG appliance:
      Create a new CPL layer or edit the Local Policy file. Add the following command:
<proxy>
url.domain=uc.att.com  detect_protocol(none)
