How long does it take for Auth Connector to upload new users/groups to the Web Security Service portal?

Issue/Introduction

After first installing Auth Connector for the first time, it can take up to 24hrs before you see any new Users or Groups appear in the Web Security Service (WSS) portal for policy creation.

Resolution

If you add a new user or group to active directory, you can force an upload of new these new users/groups by clicking Sync with AD on your portal account:

Service > Authentication > Auth connector > Sync With AD

After clicking Refresh, it might take up to 15 minutes before you see these in the portal.
