Issue/Introduction

Uploading information from the command line interface (CLI) is useful if access to the GUI is slow or unavailable.

 

Resolution

Connect to the EdgeSWG using the Serial Console or SSH. 

Execute the following commands to see what files are available:

ProxySG>enable
Enable Password:
ProxySG#
ProxySG#conf t
Enter configuration commands, one per line.  End with CTRL-Z.

ProxySG#(config)diagnostics
ProxySG#(config diagnostics)service-info
ProxySG#(config service-info)view available
Service information that can be sent to Blue Coat

Example, to upload a sysinfo to a case (replace the <case number> with your case number):

ProxySG#(config service-info)send <case number> system_information  
Sending the following reports
System_information
ProxySG#(config service-info)


If support asks for a sysinfo, event log and snapshots, you must upload each log individually.
