How do I shrink the size of the reporter database?

Issue/Introduction

The ONLY way to shrink the size of the reporter database is to do the following:

• Reduce the log lines
• Set an earlier expiry date
• Purge old databases

If you would like to retain the existing reporter database, but shrink the size by compressing the database, it CANNOT be done. The Reporter Database should never be compressed because the Reporter application will no longer be able to read it!
