How do I downgrade the ProxyAV firmware to an earlier version?

You want to downgrade to an earlier firmware version

Resolution

Download the desired AVOS version and host it on a web server in your internal network. Perform the following steps to downgrade the ProxyAV:

1. Go to https://x.x.x.x:8082/self_upgradeinternal.html (replace x.x.x.x with the IP address of your internal web server).
2. Change the Software Version in the pointer file to something lower than the current version.   If you are downgrading to AVOS 3.4.2.4, then you could put "3.4.2.4" (without the quotes)
3. Change the Update Location to Custom.
4. Enter the pointer file.   This will be your internal URL where you are hosting the AVOS that was downloaded.
5. Click Save & check now
6. Go to the regular Firmware Update page & click Save Changes. You should be able to click "Update Now" when the page re-loads.
