I installed IT Asset Manager and it does not show in Control Panel - Programs
Perform the following steps on both the Web and Application servers.
1. Log in to the server with a user that has access to edit the registry.
2. Open the Registry Editor ('regedit' from a command prompt)
3. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{2313729D-9D4A-4F68-9425-6261FF8B495A}
4. Find the key 'SystemComponent' (in the right window)
5. Right-click on 'SystemComponent', choose Modify -> Value data, and change the value to 0
6. Close the registry editor
7. Launch the Control Panel, select programs -> programs and features -> view installed updates.
8. Verify the CA Asset Portfolio Management patches or test fixes are now visible.
