Issue/Introduction



When using a dxsearch, for example

dxsearch -h computer-name -p 19389 -s subtree -b "o=DEMOCORP,c=AU" (sn="C*") dxEntryCount

The entry return is blank on a PX Policy as shown in the image below:

Is this attribute supported or is there a way to show a count of a certain attribute?

Resolution

This is supported only on the CA Directory level. A PX Policy on CA Identity Manager pulls from actual attributes from the user. Since the attribute dxEntryCount does not exist as a user attribute. The PX Policy is unable to pull the count value for the user. This feature is only unsupported from CA Identity Manager.
