How do I bypass authentication for Google Earth on the ProxySG?
I am unable to get Google Earth to work through the ProxySG when authentication is enabled.

Resolution

If authentication is enabled, the easiest way to get Google Earth to work with the ProxySG is to bypass authentication for Google Earth.  Please see 000010128 titled "How do I bypass authentication by user agent on the ProxySG?".  In 000010128, look for the "Bypassing authentication when the user-agent is not predefined" section of the article.  The easiest way is to create a combination source object with "GoogleEarth" and "Google Earth" as the user agents.  Please see http://www.botsvsbrowsers.com/category/25/index.html for a list of user agents associated with the Google Earth application.

NOTE:  The user agent for Google Earth may change over time.  So if the user agent changes with a new release of Google Earth, you may need to update your ProxySG policy accordingly.
