Issue/Introduction

I run a web farm / hosting service with multiple domain named web sites on a single server with a single IP address (HTTP 1.1 headers). How do I create a class that will hit a specific site?

Resolution

Create and name a new class, using the following specifications:

Protocol: IP

Service: HTTP

Location: Inside or Outside (depending where your server is located)

Then define the IP address of the HTTP 1.1 server in the standard IP address fields (either Inside or Outside).

Name: Enter virtual host name (e.g., www.webhost1.com)

Criterion: URL. Enter only the part after the host name (e.g., /index.htm)
