Issue/Introduction

safex is getting time out error:

ERROR: [0xf716a700] ispUtil.HttpPostRequest: select failed or timedout on recv [timeout : 120] 

ERROR: [0xf716a700] +_+_+_ispUtil::ReleasePC: peer closed

Is there a timeout value for safex?

Resolution

Double the value for the sockettimeout value in the eiam*config file and include this file in the safex command line using the -sdkconfig option:

safex -h <EEM server hostname> -u EiamAdmin -p <password> -f /tmp/export -sdkconfig /opt/CA/WorkloadAutomationAE/autouser.ACE/eiam.server.config
