Error "SOCKET EOF condition detected on receive" received when download Blue Coat Web Filter (BCWF) database

Issue/Introduction

When updating the BCWF database you may encounter the error, SOCKET EOF condition detected on receive.  Typically this means that the database on the ProxySG had previously failed and may be corrupt.

Resolution

Please follow the steps in Article Id: 166118 to purge and download the BCWF database.
