ProxySG Limit on the Number of Proxy Services That can be Created

Issue/Introduction

You need to create proxy service listeners (to bypass sites or create TCP tunnels, for example) and would like to know if there is a limitation on the number of services you can create via your appliance.

Resolution

There is no limit for the number of proxy service listeners that you can create. However, as a best practice, Symantec advises that you add listeners to existing services when possible, instead of creating additional services.

Note(s):

• The ProxySG does not support UDP listeners only TCP.
