Does Blue Coat plan on creating a 64-bit version of BCAAA or BCCA?
Why is there only a 32-bit version of BCAAA or BCCA?
Are there any performance reasons to create a 64-bit version of BCAAA or BCCA?
At the time of this writing, Blue Coat has no plans to create a 64-bit version of BCAAA or BCCA. From a technological point of view, BCAAA and BCCA are not computationally intense and do not need the resources that are available to a native 64-bit application. Because there would be little to no benefit to going to a 64-bit architecture, no plans are in place to move towards a 64-bit application.
NOTE: As of December 5, 2016, there are still no plans to write a 64-bit version of BCAAA or BCCA.
