Issue/Introduction

The Blue Coat ProxySG appliance operates the NIC as a network bridge, hence it cannot be combined for redundancy and load balancing purposes. However, you can use an external device to load balance the interface. When using external load balancing device interfaces, the ProxySG receives an increased amount of traffic; close design and proper sizing on the device is crucial to prevent over-loading.
