Can I configure the SMTP server port to a value other than 25/tcp for email event notification on the ProxySG Appliance?

Issue/Introduction

In SGOS 6.2.1.x and later releases, the SMTP server port for event notification is user-configurable using the Management Console or the Command Line Interface(CLI). Perform the steps below to configure the SMTP port using one of the two methods.

CLI Commands:

#(config smtp) server {domainname | ip-address} [port]
#(config smtp) from from-address
#(config smtp) view

 

Management Console:

1. Go to Maintenance > Event Logging > Mail
2. Enter the SNTP server port number in the Port: field.
3. Click Apply to save the changes.
