Issue/Introduction

You want users to be able to use normal Facebook functionality except you want to block the game portion of Facebook.

Resolution

1. Launch the Visual Policy Manager:  Configuration > Policy > Visual Policy Manager > Launch.
2. Add a Web Access Layer within the VPM. Name the object, for example BlockFacebookGames.
3. Create a new rule within that newly created layer. Right click Destination and click set. Click New > Destination Host/Port. Enter apps.facebook.com and use Exact Match or Contains for how to match the name. Source = any, Service = any, time = any, Action = Deny, Track = none.
4. Click Install policy.
