Issue/Introduction

The BlackBerry Enterprise Server secure connection does not work through explicit proxy.

Resolution

When you configure the BlackBerry Enterprise Server secure connection to work through the explicit proxy setting, make sure to:

• Configure the proxy service as TCP Tunnel (port 3101)
• Configure a forwarding server host for the public server on the Internet using TCP 3101.
• Add a forwarding rule in the policy to forward the proxy port 3101 to the forwarding host.
