Issue/Introduction

The DCDSRVR proc missing DB2 SDSNLOAD Library.

The DCDSRVR proc specifies the following doc which may not be accurate.

@DSNHMCID@: (optional) The data only load module DSNHMCID
will be needed in order to scan DB2 tables.
If it does not reside in the prefix.SDSNLOAD
please uncomment the SET CCIDLIB statement
and specify the library that it resides in.
Uncomment the DD statement that includes
DSN=&CCIDLIB in the STEPLIB concatenation.

The STEPLIB for DCDSRVR must contain the DB2 SDSNLOAD library in order to use the DB2 DSNUTILB program. The doc is not mention this and the DB2 scan must be run to fail the scan and abend the proc to identify that the proc could not find this program.

Resolution

The @DSNHMCID@ option is not required in the DCDSRVR proc. The instructions for this option will be removed from the sample proc.

The db2 program library (SDSNLOAD) and the library containing the load module DSNHMCID must be specified in the DB2 configuration settings within the UI.

Note: This option is related only to configuring CA DCD to scan DB2 tables.
