Issue/Introduction

Is it possible to migrate the Web Viewer Derby database from r12 to r12.1?

From an installation on Windows server 2012 to an installation on Windows server 2016?

Release: OUTWBV01300-12.1-Output Management-Web Viewer for AIX

Resolution

Yes.  Copy the AdminDB folder and subdirectories that are located under the:

C:\Program Files\CA\CA_OM_Web_Viewer\database folder 

It is not necessary to copy the RunTimeCacheDB folder. 

NOTE: We do not recommend using the internal Derby database in production.
