Issue/Introduction

Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) Host Integrity is failing on Spanish machines.

Environment

Microsoft Windows Spanish localization

Cause

A localization issue was identified in the Spanish language HIDefs file, 'hilib_es.xml', for Host Integrity definition revision 20160805.001
 

Resolution

This issue is fixed in Symantec Endpoint Protection 14.0.1.0 (RU1) and for earlier 14 build with the Host Integrity update 20171025.001. For information on how to obtain the latest build of Symantec Endpoint Protection, see Download the latest version of Symantec Endpoint Protection.
